Have the victim, uh defendant, DEMAND a Trial By Jury (not to be confused with a jury trial by a corrupted judge) according to the Tennessee constitution. Just make sure he puts himself on the stand to enter the Tennessee Constitution into evidence as the Law before he makes that demand.
That leaves the court admitting the constitution into evidence, which would require it to also state a reason for denying it's enforcement.
